Founding Waitlist Terms

No payment or membership contract: Joining the Founding 500 waitlist is an application for consideration only. It does not create a paid membership, guarantee acceptance or guarantee an introduction.

Last updated: 5 September 2026

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, genuinely available to date and legally able to enter into an agreement. The founding phase is intended primarily for people living in Gauteng.

Your application

Please provide accurate, current information. Table for Two may decline, defer or remove an application where information appears false, misleading, unsafe or inconsistent with the intended community.

Selection and introductions

Applications may be considered according to relationship intent, readiness, location, cohort balance and the availability of potentially compatible members. Neither waitlist placement nor future membership guarantees a particular person, number of introductions, date or relationship outcome.

Communication choices

Operational messages about an application may be necessary to process it. Launch marketing and research invitations are optional and may be declined or withdrawn without affecting the application.

Safety and conduct

Applicants and future members must communicate respectfully, represent themselves honestly and comply with safety and conduct standards supplied before membership. Table for Two may refuse or end participation where safety, harassment, fraud or material misrepresentation is suspected.

Pricing and future membership

The intended founding offer is R499 per month, billed monthly with a three-month initial commitment, and that price is locked for an accepted founding member's first six months. Standard curated membership is R899 per month. Assisted Matchmaking starts from R2,499 per month. Prices are VAT-inclusive where applicable. After the initial commitment, membership continues monthly and may be cancelled with 30 days' notice. Final benefits, introduction cadence, payment timing, renewal terms, cancellation rights and any venue benefits will be presented in the membership agreement before a paid membership begins. Applicants may decline that offer.

Restaurant and venue costs

Applicants and members remain responsible for their own purchases unless a specific Table for Two offer clearly states otherwise. Mention of a venue category or partner programme is not a promise of a discount, reservation or included meal.

Privacy

Personal information is handled according to the Privacy Notice. You may request access, correction or deletion by emailing hello@tablefortwo.co.za.

Website use and intellectual property

The Table for Two name, branding, copy and original site materials may not be copied for commercial use without permission. Do not interfere with the website, submit malicious content or attempt to access another person's information.

Changes

These waitlist terms may be updated as the service develops. Material changes affecting applicants will be communicated before they are asked to enter a paid agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Nothing in them limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
